Aurora Borealis

A photo of the Northern Lights taken on a Christmas holiday to Lapland.

The shot was taken on Christmas Eve evening in -25 degrees Celsius whilst using a tripod - not an easy task dressed in snow suit, ski gloves, scarf and hat!

Unfortunately, there was only the one clear night to try and capture these beautiful lights so it's not exactly the best photograph it could have been. Still, it's amazing considering that the naked eye couldn't see anything like the image that was captured.
