This shot was taken at Edinburgh Castle with a pre-digital Yashica FR II Film SLR. It features an iconic Scottish Guard, complete with Bayonet on rifle, completely still.
The onlookers in the background appear to be afraid to move, but in actual fact they are just awaiting the regular changing of the guard!
As with other film-based photographs there isn't a lot of information available regarding aperture settings or shutter speed unfortunately. It's fairly obvious a low aperture was used though, as the depth of field is low - something which makes the photo stand out even more and allows focus on the guard's head, shoulders and firearm.
